My name is Jennifer Shekleton. I love NE Iowa and believe that it is a great place to live and work, which is why my husband Jay and I choose to call this area home. After growing up in East Texas, I earned my BA in Social Science from Upper Iowa University and currently teach alternative high school at NICC.

Real estate has always been a passion for me. I purchased my first rental property in 2000 to supplement my teaching salary. By 2003, I moved to Florida to invest in real estate full time and became a realtor in Florida in 2004. In 2010, a partner and I purchased a package of bank owned single family homes in Cedar Rapids, which brought me back to this area to manage those properties.

With my experience as a realtor, as well as a buyer/seller, I know firsthand how stressful buying or selling a property can be. However, it is my commitment to my clients to make this process as seamless as possible.

When I am not working with clients or managing properties, I enjoy traveling whenever possible and day trips around the area, usually accompanied by our two boxers. I look forward to serving new and repeat clients to sell their homes or buy their dream property!
